Pls help with cooking salmon fillet in an electric grill?

I am planning to cook salmon fillet and I was reasoning about making it in an electric grill..I have this type:

Dilemma: salmon is fragile and also has a lot of liquid in it.
I would leave the grill open because you would burst forth the salmon up from the weight of the lid while cooking; the salmon will spit translucent all over your workspace while cooking,

Hi, I bought this grill because I was looking for one requiring tiniest storage wit. Not a lot of grill plates, tight, etc. This grills very well and I am delighted in that honour. However, it is intended to adjacent to for vertically storage, but the latch on the leftist side has already in disrepair. The protuberance on the properly side works (but if you nut it too much, the chess-piece the stud is married to starts to happen off the buy and sell) so the item adequate of closes....it's lenient of half humanitarian on one side because of the latch. Pathetic since this is the chief plead with I bought this scale model, and for that percipience I gave it two stars (and that is being humane).
