Do Sharp Microwave-Convection ovens use only a metal carousel dish?

I was just stated a Sharp microwave-convection oven model R9H84B. It came with a metal tray for the carousel. I have never acquainted with metal in a microwave and Sharp no longer supports this model. I don't want to downfall it first time out.

Ok are you unswerving it metal and just not painted to look that way? Metal is not hypothetical to go in the microwave so I wouldnt risk it at all.
