Why does 13 yr old Maytag gas range hum loudly?

Any suggestions about why my 13 yr old Maytag gas range hums loudly - seems to total from the area above the burners.

How hot is too hot for the face of a dryer? I have a 10 yr old maytag performa gas dryer. I scarcely had the let loose system cleaned and the appliance repairman cleaned monster amounts of lint from the section in front of the blower to what place. The exterior of the dryer in front of the blower locale is still measuring above 107* with my inferred thermometer. I say its too hot, repairman says its routine. This is on the low home after even-handed a few minutes with a burden of wet clothes and the stay of the dryer is lukewarm. I called Maytag but they said the doubt was "too complicated."

Thanks DanO, that's a clever kinship. I don't contemplate its hotter then that and the top is no longer hot after having the expel cleaned and the alone allow to become known kit installed on the back of the dryer. Fitting a tip to anyone else needing to unpolluted their let loose - inspect the in blower (squirel hem in) multitude for lint as well. Ours was altogether jammed with lint. Its undemanding to do yourself and now that I be informed how I'll economize an $80 vamp bill every year or so. I've had my release cleaned periodically and no one ever brought this up. With my dryer's stratagem representative cleaning will never get that lint out of that scope.
