Mistakenly used Chloride in an iron filter instead of permanganate. Is resin bed ruined?
I moved into a legislative body with an existing iron filter. Last owner thought it was a softener and used potassium chloride as an alternative of potassium permanganate. The reservoir is a solid clump of Chloride, but my establishment is for the resin
