Why does No-Frost Freezer have ice on door?

The freezer in my new no-frost SBS fridge started getting a scanty ice on the top part of the inner side of the door.
Is this normal?
somebody told me No-Frost freezers have heating elements in jail the walls, so that they defrost any ice.
