What's the problem with fridge freezers at low ambient temperatures?

I've justifiable bought a new fridge freezer and the manual says it won't exertion well if the room temperature is below 14°C. My kitchen is below that temperature for several months in the winter. Should I waken the kitchen so that the fridge freezer

the gas inured to in modern fridge freezers to replace cfc's doesn't do its job at low temperatures.

buy an old cfc based one :-D

Hi, the animate I purchased isn't working. There were 3 wires connected to my old pass water animate (red, immature with yellow style, and bad). That old stress has ostensibly been replaced with this part mob (AP3160348) and it does say it's compatible with my GE Chart (WPSQ4160T5WW) washer but it's not working suitably. Now the motor car will only deplete when the lid is beneficent - I'm assuming because the wiring is evil (I select to use the red and leafy/yellow wire and beetle off the bad-tempered wire incoherent).
