How long do packaged items from a Food Saver stay packaged and airtight?

Please only suffice for if you own a Food Saver.

Once an item is vacuumed, assuming you did it properly, how long does that filler stay airtight in the plastic casing? I vacuumed some non perishables and layout on keeping them in the plastic

Deem it all depends on what you packed!
