Hi Everyone,
Our scout troop goes on a monthly campout and it is my refer to to be in debt of the matured dinner.
As accountable grown-ups our underlying purpose, of circuit, is to always cause the scouts jealous of what we are eating so I am thoughtful of irksome calzones.
My representation is use a cardboard box to transform an oven by lining it with tin pull the rug out from under someone and then cook over wood coals from our fire. I will bake the calzones on a big pizza pan that is raised 8 or so inches off the coals and then robe with the box.
I will change the calzones on Friday evening with whatever pizza dough modus operandi I find and then chattels them and run them in the fridge until we do a moonlight flit Sat morning. The the calzones will be sitting in my backpack all day without any refrigeraion, but I do not deem that should be an issuance since I am guessing that the temp will be in the mid to low 30s during the day.
In theory, all of this should employment out nice. I am wondering if anyone can contemplate of any dear considerations that I might have with outside baking on a wood fire at around 30 degrees F or so.
