Can I use my stoneware Crock-Pot insert in the oven?

I long for to bake a large pasta casserole, uncovered, in my oven with the stoneware. I can then insert it into the Crock-Pot heating section to keep it warm during a party. I just want to make guaranteed the stoneware is sturdy enough to handle the oven

yes but as stated above an precipitate temperature shift can crack the ceramic.
let your casarole undisturbed down first, not till absolutely cold, but still warm, then pop it in the crock pot and crank the stimulate, you should be fine

I’ve been experimenting with another cuts of basics – this week chicken leg quarters were on trading, so I definite to try cooking them in the crockpot.  I was in the keen for a tomato based cheekiness, but possibly a sweeter, barbeque quintessence…

A programme at CDKitchen didn’t methodically fit what I was looking for, but it was a terrific jumping off appropriate.

Here’s what I did:

Chicken pieces (I acclimatized 5 chicken leg quarters, you could use anything you hanker after)
