Are activated charcoal water filters (e.g, Brita) safe to use?
I've heard contradictions about this so I figured I'd sollicit your opinions. Are activated charcoal water filters chest to use or does the charcoal actually seep carcinogens into the water?

i do use a brita at times and you can drop a slight difference. I have no problems drinking tap or making coffee/tea with tap water.
