Ceramic inside my cast iron tea kettle chipping?
I bought a well done Cast Iron Tea Kettle with a strainer on top. I let it boil for too long, and now the ceramic lining on the inside of is chipping. Is it still okay to use? Can I somehow get the inside ceramic replaced?
If its cast iron, it's possibly OK for a little while, but eventually it's going to rust. It probably won't wound you, but it will discolor the water and give it an off taste.
