Ceramic inside my cast iron tea kettle chipping?

I bought a well done Cast Iron Tea Kettle with a strainer on top. I let it boil for too long, and now the ceramic lining on the inside of is chipping. Is it still okay to use? Can I somehow get the inside ceramic replaced?

If its cast iron, it's possibly OK for a little while, but eventually it's going to rust. It probably won't wound you, but it will discolor the water and give it an off taste.

I have seen a renewal in retro everything including cast iron tea pots. I inured to to come up with anything made of cast iron was objectionable and out dated. Not accurate at all. The colors readily obtainable for cast iron tea pots is stunning. In the score, I reflect on there are more colors and styles accessible than in the nice bone China tea pots. Most are so comely that at first you are almost intimidated to hatch tea in them apprehensive that you may mutilation it.
