I'm having 2cm granite counters installed. But we have run into a problem with the 30 inch drop in range.
Our installer has suggested we use approx 1-1/2 to 2inch plywood to get the granite to fit into the sides of the range. With that in retain we will have a little more than an inch of plywood/trim visable throughout. I'm not too happy about the decoration
I'm not unfaltering that I understand where exactly the plywood is going...is the range taller than the idleness of the counters and are you using the plywood to raise the height of the piece to the height of the range?
EDITED 8/25:

The forecasters said there is a “low” presumption of seven inches or more in some areas. In the near future, temperatures will drop tonight to the teens in the northwest to the mid-20s to around 30 along the littoral, forecasters said.
