How big of a floating hinge do you need for paninis?
All the George foreman grills I've seen so far say they have a 1-inch floating hinge, and I've also looked at other griddles/grills, which do not delineate hinge size. Is 1 inch enough for paninis, or should I look for one that opens wider?
1 in to 2 in is what I was told when I was prone mine. But before that I used a grill pan and a cast iron one to get the same result. Worked solely great til I got one as a gift. For mass production I use my old method and my new panini also pressurize,
