Is there a difference between the Cuisinart Griddler models Grid-8SA and G-4?

I bought the Grid-8SA at a wholesale lodge and it looks the same as the G-4 that they advertise, but I cannot find the Grid-8SA model on the Cuisinart website. Does anyone identify if there is a difference? The Grid-8SA is called the "Griddle Gourmet"

I was wondering about the same quirk while doing my research on the two products. I saw the 8SA at a local wholesale bat and the price is much lower than the G-4. From what I understand, the biggest argument is that the grill plates can be removed and

My other new favorite is my Cuisinart Griddler. It does everything. I doubtful it bears more than a passing resemblance to that perennial favorite of gadgeteers everywhere, the George Manager Grill, but I found this one at Costco and I love it.
